Why did you move the draft to mainspace without doing anything to address the problems with it? --bonadea contributions talk 12:47, 27 March 2023 (UTC)

By the way, why did you write a draft that contained no actual info about the book other than its title and author? Really basic facts such as when it was published was missing. Please don't be in such a hurry – take some time to think about what are the most important facts about a topic. How many stars some reviewer gave the book is not one of the most important fact. --bonadea contributions talk 12:56, 27 March 2023 (UTC)

@Bonadea The book has notability. Content can be improved, I've tagged it as a stub. If you disagree, take it to AfD — DaxServer (t · m · c) 15:36, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
@DaxServer: What I did was change the highly promotional article into a redirect, to remove give the article creator or other editors a chance to clean it up before it became a mainspace article. You reverted the redirect but didn't do anything to address the issues. Did you read the reviews that were misleadingly quoted in the article? AfD is not cleanup, and the fact that the article is a promo piece is unconnected to notability. No need to worry – I'll clean it up as best I can, but it is concerning that an AfC reviewer moved their own declined draft to mainspace with serious NPOV issues, which had been spelt out to them, remaining. --bonadea contributions talk 16:23, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
@Bonadea I'm aware of @LordVoldemort728 history of moving their own declined drafts. He even wrote horribly incorrect information in a stub article of two sentences - User talk:LordVoldemort728/Archive 15#Your submission at Articles for creation: Tlohang Sekhamane has been accepted. That being said, with the exception of "BOOK REVIEW: Morton brings 'humanness' to Queen's biography" which I can't access due to EU restriction and neither in archive, the NYT quote is not falsified. Agree that it only provided the positive criticism and didn't have the full picture violating WP:NPOV. The WaPo quote is literally the byline description. Nothing to say about The Telegraph, Vulture and Star Tribune. As such, I don't see the necessity to WP:BLAR it. I meant AfD if you disagree with its notability. Since you rightly raised that I haven't addressed [the NPOV], I'll expand these 5 reviews when I get some time.
For the record, a large portion of articles by @LordVoldemort728 fit this format. He simply quotes that they received reviews with all the citations but fails to write a proper article. Unfortunately that doesn't translate to BLAR and it certainly annoys me. I disagree with these articles [in the format they're written] but once they reach mainspace, I let them go. There's only so much that I can do.
Given that anyone can edit, I simply left it for the inspired to edit and improve it. That might be you, me, the creator or anyone else. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 17:01, 27 March 2023 (UTC)

Crazy XYZ moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Crazy XYZ, is not suitable as written to remain published.

I'm afraid it is simply too poorly written to be useful to our readers, and too many of the sources are not independent and/or unreliable.

I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. bonadea contributions talk 19:59, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
