- Remember to mark your edits as minor only when they genuinely are (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). "The rule of thumb is that an edit of a page that is spelling corrections, formatting, and minor rearranging of text should be flagged as a 'minor edit'."
- We don't use HTML mark-up; please don't change the standard Wikipedia bold for subjectst to "strong". --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 22:33, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- Ok i'll try and use less minor edits, and i did it again, i used HTML in here!--Lord Snoeckx 22:36, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- I've noticed that you've done this on a number of articles, and that you've been making film titles bold; they should be italic ("''...''"). Also, why did you place {{wikify}} on Economic conversion? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 22:42, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well, actually, i have never used the WikiLay-Out, because i find it very strange, why not use BBCCode (, ...), instead of ' ' for italic, ' ' ' for bold and ' ' ' ' ' for italic and bold. By the way on Wikipedia:How to edit a page is not spoken about not using HTML (worse, certain things only go with HTML), plus i am in favor of a unified Lay-Out code on the entire internet, i thought Wikipedia was aslo?
- The reasons for avoiding HTML are given at Wikipedia:WikiProject Usability/HTML. The fact remains that that is how we do it, and HTML is avoided where possible; please go along with Wikipedia customs when editing here.
- About the Economic Conversion article, it was on the Task list, under 'Wikify', but the article itself didn't contain any '{{Wikify}}', and it didn't look very Wikified already, so i thought ...--Lord Snoeckx 14:11, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- That's odd; perhaps there was a {{wikify}} tag embedded somewhere; I'll have a look. Still, it was as wikified as it needed to be (what did you think was missing?). --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 16:30, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
OK, what happened was this: first, someone placed the "wikify" tag in the wrong place (at the bottom of the article). Secondly, someone else came along and did the required work, removing the tag. You were looking at a version of the "Wikify" task page that you'd loaded before the work was done, but you followed the link after the work was done. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 16:36, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- OK next time i'll see whether it is already wikified ... And don't use HTML anymore... --Lord Snoeckx 16:48, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks (it's nice to have a discussion with another European — no waiting for twelve hours for the other person to reply). --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 16:57, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Encore.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Encore.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:36, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Your contributed article, London metro
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, London metro. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – London Metro. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at London Metro. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. PRehse (talk) 06:40, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
