  Done Ciao Enzo. I have swapped the two pages. Since you are working fro TIMGlobal Media, please very carefully read the COI notice posted below. TIMGlobal Media is neither your page, nor does it belong to the company. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to ask me on my talk page. Happy editing. — Sam Sailor 11:07, 6 September 2016 (UTC) (please   mention me on reply)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of TIMGlobal Media

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on TIMGlobal Media, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Lorenzo.sagripanti. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article TIMGlobal Media, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. — Sam Sailor 10:58, 6 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Help me!

edit

hello thank for your info, i'm only an intern and i'm trying to update from a neutral point of view the page "Thomas Industrial Media" already existing 'cause the page contains old information about the company starting from the company name (it is now referred to as TIMGlobal Media) and then i have to add the new pubblications. I hope i can keep on working in this way on the old page

thank you

Lorenzo

First of all you should take a look at the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use and make sure that you comply with the disclosure requirements explained in the section on "Paid contributions without disclosure". The guideline on conflicts of interest has already been pointed out above.
Regarding the article, the main shortcoming, and one that may lead to the article's deletion, is the complete lack of reliable third-party sources such as newspapers or reputable trade magazines reporting on TIMGlobal Media in any detail. We need such sources both to allow our readers to verify the content and to establish that the company is notable enough to be the subject of a Wikipedia article in the first place. In fact Mean as custard apparently already tried to tag the article for speedy deletion; while I wouldn't necessarily agree that it's an unsalvageable advertisement, much of it is basically just a product list written from the company's perspective. That is not what an encyclopedia article should be. Huon (talk) 17:28, 6 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.
