License tagging for Image:J garner 1.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:J garner 1.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:06, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

editPlease stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Mike Procter, you will be blocked from editing. Your claims that Mike Procter is racist violate WP:BLP: Unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material — whether negative, positive, or just questionable — about living persons should be removed immediately and without discussion from Wikipedia articles, talk pages, user pages, and project space --Jpeeling (talk) 10:10, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Advice
editHi LoveIndia, could I suggest you have a look at the main content policies? They are:
- Biographies of living persons - contains rules about not putting disparaging content on talk pages,
- No Original Research - indicates that ideas must have been previously published,
- Neutral Point of View - clarifies that not all points of view should be included,
- Verifiability - explains that high quality sources should be used.
Copyright problem: Instant khichdi
editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Instant khichdi, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://shows.tv4india.com/info/instant-khichdi/, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL), versions 1.3 or later then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Instant khichdi and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or that the material is released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Instant khichdi with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Instant khichdi.
It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Instant khichdi saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing!
While starting to do some cleanup, I happened to discover that most of the character information appears to have been copied verbatim from tv4india.com. Some people have edited it over the past couple of years, but it is still mostly the same. The sourced page seems to have been created in 2006, and your upload in early 2007 would appear to be a violation. Rassilon (talk) 01:18, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
The article Bollywood release 2010 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- There is already a page on this, Bollywood films of 2010. Besides, the title is also confusing.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - M4nag3r(-)rC[Reply] 14:25, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
