Hello, I'm Jim1138. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to African American–Jewish relations seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 01:04, 22 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps a better term would be wp:weasel wording. Jim1138 (talk) 02:55, 22 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Human shield

It needs a closing </ref> See wp:verifiability, wp:cite, wp:Reliable sources, template:cite web, template:cite news, template:cite book. Most pertenent here would be wp:cite. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 03:03, 22 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

My source is not showing up? Cite error: The opening <ref> tag is malformed or has a bad name (see the help page). http://dailycaller.com/2014/07/16/hamas-spokesman-defends-using-civilians-as-human-shields-video/.[1]

Should look like <ref name="DailyCaller">{{cite news |url= http://dailycaller.com/2014/07/16/hamas-spokesman-defends-using-civilians-as-human-shields-video/ |title= Some title |date= Date published |accessdate= Today's date |author= Joe Kleine}} </ref> (note the last </ref>) (leave out the nowiki's) This generates[2] It can be reused with <ref name="DailyCaller"/> (note the added slash "/") Such as here[2] and here[2] Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 03:33, 22 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. May I ask if you have previously edited Wikipedia, and in that case, under which name? Cheers, Huldra (talk) 13:21, 1 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Nope new to wikipedia. I did edit it around 2008 don't remember my name. Back in the good ol days.Loveandpeace=happy (talk) 13:45, 1 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

That is rather contradictary: if you edited back in 2008, then you are not "new to wikipedia". May I ask if you were sanctioned back in 2008? Cheers, Huldra (talk) 14:21, 1 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sorry i should of explained it better. In 2008 i was referencing a school project where we used to edit various wiki articles, not really a professional editor mind you just dabbling on the basis of the credibility of Wikipedia concerning factual knowledge . I'm only 21 ha. I would of been around 13 in 2008. So yes i'm new to Wikipedia in that sense, in the way i'm actually hoping to contribute professionally to Wikipedia's outline goals. So that being said Who are you? are you a moderator? because i appreciate your welcome and introduction but it sounds like you're evaluating me as a troll(just my analysis)Loveandpeace=happy (talk) 16:23, 1 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
