Can you please cite the axoct page, and possibly add a quote like for the other references? Thanks. --SPUI (T - C) 21:43, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Is the image you uploaded strictly a Metra station, or is it the one also used by Amtrak? And if it's the former, would you be willing to write an article on the LaGrange Metra station, and use that image in the infobox? ---- DanTD 15:16, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Here's a link to the line that has both(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BNSF_Railway_Line). If the one you describe in LaGrange Road, it's the Amtrak Station. ---- DanTD 17:08, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- The other La Grange Station(Stone Avenue). To quote Joe Walsh, "Ain't never been there, they tell me it's nice." In this case, "they" meaning Metra's official website. ---- DanTD 17:24, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Question about List of Illinois Routes article
Looking back at the history, it looked like you had started to make each group of ten into a table, but then quit after 11-20. Just wondering what the thought process was on that, because I personally think the article looks ugly and it should be all table or all nontable. DandyDan2007 11:54, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- I just figured on setting up 1-10 and 11-20 in the same form as the rest of the list. DandyDan2007 20:09, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
FHWA table
What does a link to the FHWA list add to the article? If it's being used as a reference, it should be there; otherwise it's really not useful. --NE2 18:40, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't know if it was being used as a reference; if it was, go ahead and add it as one. --NE2 20:22, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Winston Tunnel infobox
Hey Rob, thanks so much for the infobox for Winston Tunnel. I swear it was driving me crazy that it didn't have one but I couldn't ever find one that worked. Thanks! Gws57 16:45, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
An important letter
Dear roads editor,
You may have noticed some changes at WP:USRD lately. Some of them, like the cleanup templates and the stub templates, have been astounding and great. Unfortunately, others have been disturbing.
This has become evidenced by the departure of a few prominent editors at USRD, a few RFC's, and much fighting among USRD editors.
After the second RFC, many of us found the opportunity to take a step away from Wikipedia for a while--as a self-imposed wikibreak, or possibly on vacation.
The result of such introspection was that many of us were placing ourselves in a "walled garden" and on a self-imposed pedestal of authority over the roads department. Also, we were being hostile to a few users who were not agreeing with us.
In fact, IRC has been the main incarnation of this "walled garden." Decisions have been made there to conduct grudges and prejudices against a few valued USRD users with poor justification.
For this, we have come to apologize. We have come to ask your forgiveness.
In addition to this, we hope to work as one USRD team from now on and to encourage cooperation instead of the promotion of interests.
All users are welcome to collaborate on IRC, the newsletter, or anywhere else at USRD.
In the future, please feel free to approach us about any issues you may have.
Regards,

90 94 or Dan Ryan
See the discussion in Talk:Dan Ryan Expressway about changes made by NE2. My concern was with the inaccuracies in the new table, which does not reflect current construction. I asked him to talk to you. Busjack 14:31, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

USRD Inactivity check and news report
Hello, Lpangelrob. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:
- Please update your information at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
- There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.

Interstate 74 in Illinois and maybe some others
Your reversion of Interstate 74 in Illinois changed a bunch of mentions of "concurrency" (in referring to two routes following the same road to "Multiplex" as stated in This Link there is a move to drop "Multiplex" because it is a Neologism. Just thought I'd let you know. master sonT - C 23:56, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Hmmm
Well, now I'm not sure, most of thos MSN links are well to be honest promotional; but this may be different, so I guess you can add it back; I might consult another editor as to what he thinks as well. See ya. Phgao 07:40, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Good Article Nomination of Interstate 355
Hello Rob. An article you recently nominated for Good Article status has had a successful review. Thank you for your nomination and keep up the good work. Next step FA. Regards, Rudget.talk 17:56, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the clean-up
I really appreciate your recent edit to Phillips Disaster (combine refs, add headings). I wasn't yet sure how to do it that way. Just as I was sitting down to get started on it, your revs appeared magically, and saved me the trouble of figuring out how to do it. Now I know how, for my future reference.
Thanks again! -- Art Smart (talk) 02:31, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
re I-355
This picture shows the other "control city" for I-355 northbound as "Northwest suburbs", but I don't know how to phrase it in the Major Cities box let alone link it to which article. Maybe you might know, thanks. —JA10 Talk • Contribs 23:06, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, ok, makes sense. Good idea by writing about it in the RD, good luck with the rest of the FAC, I'll try my best to fix mistakes posted by reviewers. —JA10 Talk • Contribs 23:13, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- I am confused in the exit list. If the exits are unnumbered why are there plaza numbers? I tried looking into the citation and couldn't find any plaza numbers on the map, it might confused many readers. —JA10 Talk • Contribs 23:57, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Highway Sign in text on I-69
I thought that added to the appearance of the article. Yes, you are right, the sign is in the box. Does it need to be in the text? No, but it added something. Think about it.
You are right about the US-I69, and certainly should get rid of that.
Best regards. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 17:17, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Stan
- I was just looking for a visually interesting way of doing this. I thought one sign at the beginning was relatively innocuous. I do understand about using signs as punctuation marks.
- Of course, I was neither a part of, nor aware of, those prior editorial discussions. If that's the rule then so be it.
- Best to you. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 20:20, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Stan
- Thanks for the guidance. No pun intended. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 21:59, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Stan
