Ltv100
Hi Ltv100, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions to the coolest online encyclopedia I know of =). I sure hope you stick around; we're always in need of more people to create new articles and improve the ones we already have. Here are a few suggestions you might find useful:
- First, check out the tutorial and learn how to write a great article
- Find out more about what Wikipedia is and how it works
- Check out the manual of style and maybe the picture tutorial if you're interested in adding images to your articles
- Write from a neutral point of view, use wikiquette, and last but not least, be bold!
- Check out the community portal if you're looking for something to do.
- Finally, feel free to contact me at my talk page if you have any questions! Remember to sign your name by typing ~~~~.
Again, welcome! It's great to have you. Happy editing! —Spangineer[es] (háblame) 04:47, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Please stop deliberately introducing incorrect information into articles. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.--digital_me(Talk)(Contribs) 19:06, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
I apologize for the revert
editI was on vandalism patrol, and I didn't see an edit summary, and I saw dates and names changed. Please accept my apology, I didn't realize that you edit wasn't vandalism. Might I suggest that to help avoid these kinds of misunderstandings, you use the edit summary feature to let people know the reason for your edit. Regards. --digital_me(Talk)(Contribs) 21:46, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:EIVA newlogo web.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:EIVA newlogo web.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:06, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Penn State vs. Indiana game
editI saw you added a game time and TV coverage for this year's Indiana game to the schedule on 2007 Penn State Nittany Lions football team. Where did you get that info? So far, I've only seen announcements for three PSU games (ND, OSU, UW) [1]. -- Billma 11:55, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Saw your response on my talk page. That's weird that PSU hasn't mentioned anything about it yet. Oh well. Thanks! -- Billma 16:52, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Non-free use disputed for Image:EIVA newlogo web.jpg
editThis file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:EIVA newlogo web.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:08, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
SuperLiga attendance
editHey, thanks for correcting the attendance for the LA/Chivas match. I looked it up on Soccernet.com but I was stunned that it said only ~13000 people while on TV there was clearly many more. Thanks again! DP08 05:31, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
editThis is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Bigtennetworklogo.jpeg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:22, 12 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Concacafchampionsleague.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Concacafchampionsleague.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:43, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Cato June
editDo you have any thoughts on Talk:Cato_June#Length. There are a couple of editors who have chopped up my articles in the past debating with me about detail.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 21:34, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
