Hello, thank you for redirecting me to MOS:Ethnicity, as you have removed the ethnicity from the lead I will add it in the body of the article as per the following :

"Ethnicity, religion, or sexuality should generally not be in the lead unless relevant to the subject's notability. Similarly, neither previous nationalities nor the country of birth should be mentioned in the opening paragraph unless relevant to the subject's notability."

Before you do, I want to make sure it's a due addition. There already seems to be a bit about his North African heritage in the lead—are there sufficient general histories that back up this detail, other than the one from the 1960s you are citing? I also think it may not be worth mentioning at all on pages other than Septimius Severus.Remsense ‥ 论 13:54, 4 December 2024 (UTC)

I think "a bit" is an under-statement, most notable works describe the Severan Dynasty as berber and members of the dynasty as such, there are several histories that back up this detail and I have already exhausted the sources in the lead with 4 successive publications from different years 1967, 2001, 2021.

I think this is an important detail to mention for all the members of the same berber Severan dynasty as the publication also make it clear in this regard, this includes Geta (emperor), Septimius Severus, Severan dynasty.

I am also hoping to publish an article including Berber dynasties to include these personalities and It would be important to have this key detail included. Lobus (talk) 14:04, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
