editHi Lucaspig HK! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Flag of the United States several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Flag of the United States, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 07:38, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Hong Kong Parliament
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hong Kong Parliament requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. MB 23:57, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
Vandalism
editPlease note that this edit is pure vandalism and may lead to your account being suspended. Wikipedia is a dictionary and as such it reports the state of things as they are, not as one may wish them to be. Stalegingerlingers (talk) 12:26, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Lucaspig HK/sandbox
editAlthough everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as User:Lucaspig HK/sandbox, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
- i think there might be a big misunderstanding, my sandbox page was not “blatant hoax” but instead an alternate scenario I created for reddit posts. Here are a few examples: https://www.reddit.com/r/AlternateHistory/comments/wbslbw/the_two_hong_kongs_in_2038_hong_kong_revolution/https://www.reddit.com/r/AlternateHistory/comments/wv6qsr/introducing_new_factions_in_the_hong_kong/https://www.reddit.com/r/AlternateHistory/comments/wonf1y/yuen_long_insurgency_hong_kong_revolution_timeline/
- These wiki boxes are made in my user sandbox not a public wiki page, they were no where near hoax, let alone “blatant”. Please fix your blatant mistake immediately Lucaspig HK (talk) 06:06, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
May you place a copy of an article here?
editWould you try to establish the article 'Hong Kong Parliament Electoral Organizing Committee' here again? It's easy. Just copy everything from the version touched up by you (https://simple.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hong_Kong_Parliament_Electoral_Organizing_Committee&oldid=8947153) and avoid typing mistakes.202.68.172.246 (talk) 12:57, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- Already done, here is the page, feel free to make adjustments as you see fit Lucaspig HK (talk) 04:21, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
The comments on 'https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2022_August_7#Hong_Kong_Parliament_Electoral_organising_committee' show that success is likely.202.68.172.246 (talk) 13:02, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
Nice Work!202.68.172.246 (talk) 13:57, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
Can you please provide two reliable sources that specifically calls the National Security Department as a secret police agency? This is because the article is extremely contentious and the policy is to remove entries with sources that either do not mention the agency by name, or are fringe or highly partisan in nature (e.g. InfoWars). --Minoa (talk) 08:30, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
- No problem, just added three sources, two in Chinese one in English. Hope that helps clarify things. Lucaspig HK (talk) 19:12, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
