Re:List of The Backyardigans episodes

edit

We generally list episodes in the order they're played in; as all channels generally use this order, it's easier to do it this way. I've been synopsizing most of the episodes since the middle of Season Two and every synopsis I've posted has been minutes after the showing of the episode: this may not be the correct order as you have it, but this is the order they played on TV. Season Four is a special case; all episodes haven't shown yet, so we can't have all the synopses yet. I am aware The Amazing Splashinis isn't in the proper order (and is one of the few synopses that isn't mine); this will be rectified as the final episodes play. Two-part episodes are considered one episode for the sake of convenience. HalfShadow 04:02, 29 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi! No disrespect intended, but I don't see why you wouldn't change the information as I've outlined. I understand that it would be easier to list episodes in the order shown if I wasn't listing the production order for you. But, since I'm giving you the actual production numbers, why not use them? Its not a major issue at all, but if anyone uses wikipedia for research about the show, I think it should be accurate, and its just not accurate to say Movers of Arabia is show 2.10, when its actually 2.11. I'm moderately sure a couple of the season two episodes aren't in the correct order and Mission to Mars just played yesterday, so I'll eventually be able to fix any errors there, and of course the two part episodes are naturally going to throw the list off, since they're listed as a single episode. In fact, if you take that into account, the episodes are in order, barring any errors in season two I find. I can't fix the numbering system as used in the contents, as that system is specific to the contents.
I suppose I could create synopses for the second episodes of the two part episodes, thus giving the second, third and fourth season the 'proper' number of episodes, but I'd have to re-watch those episodes, so it'll be quite some time before I get to doing it and you'd have to live with the fact that the second part of 'International Super Spy' would be out of order, but everything else would be more or less fixed. Honestly, though, why did you do the first half and then not do the second until ten episodes later?
If you really want to help (assuming you have access to this info), tell us if we have any music genres incorrect and if we've missed any songs that use a real song's tune. I'm sure I've heard the chorus to 'Bug Girl' somewhere and its driving me nuts. HalfShadow 17:20, 30 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
