Sex 3.0

Hey, so I fleshed out the Sex 3.0 page but the page needs forking into two pages here

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_3.0

and here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_3.0:_A_Sexual_Revolution_Manual

As Sex 3.0 (the open source sexual revolution movement) and Sex 3.0 (the book) are two different things.

Right now this page :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_3.0

Forwards to this page :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_3.0:_A_Sexual_Revolution_Manual

Can you help forking the two pages? I don't know how to do it myself.

The current page which I have been editing is the text about Sex 3.0 as a movement (along with an explanation of what Sex 3.0 means)

The text for the wiki page just about the book is as follows :

2011 novel by J J Roberts. It defines the three sexual eras of mankind as Sex 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0; with 1.0 being all of human history up until 8,000 BC, 2.0 being 8,000 BC up to and including the present day and 3.0 being the present day forwards. According to the author, mankind is currently in the Sex 2.0 era, which has failed us because our lifestyles have caused problems in our modern day sexual relationships. He believes that we need to move on to Sex 3.0, which is "a world of mutual understanding between men and women and a return to nature. "[1] above commentsby User:PizzaLord.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Toscano (cigar), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ferdinand III (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Dragonball Evolution edit

My entire point for criticism at the "Dragonball Evolution's" first paragraph was to point out those unaware of the Dragonball franchise that this movie was an inaccurate work, and that blame shouldn't be directed towards the original manga itself. It being constructive is besides the point; an actual fact that needed to be expressed was that the movie is nothing compared or related to the manga and anime. So, this is a command to you to immediately reset that edit; this edit will be restored to the expression that I previously rendered. It's a definite fact you will restore my written thoughts, so don't bother resisting this order. Reverted Edit On Rebecca Lowe

You appear to be acting as judge and jury on edits added to Rebecca Lowes profile - edits which are all truthful. I'm instructing you to stop. You don't know the bitch and she has not ruined multiple relationships in your life. If the bitch wants publicity, she'll get the negative as well as the positive. Do not edit the posts without justification.

If you want to do some proper research, then add that Paul Buckle left his loyal wife and 2 children for her, that she has never been faithful in a relationship, that she lied about her age to get her first job, that she had no active interest in football until encouraged to join in the sport by an ex (guess who that is), that she has clear behavioral issues caused by her fathers unfaithfulness as a child, and thats just for starters. If you want to be all empowering, then do your research correctly and stop editing out the truth.

Article

Hi Luigi,

Many thanks for agreeing with my comments on the notablity of Peter Bush for the town of Port Talbot, the other admin? has now created a community forum on it, I believe I have sourced enough non biased credable websites with referencing to show that he is indeed notable within Port Talbot and in fact within the UK, within his profession and professional memberships of institutions and is considered a leading person (why else would he be awarded an Honorary Doctorate) and also receive so many national awards (UK Based)as well as regional and local ones. Also being a Fellow of an Institute clearly shows incredible dedication and expertise in that field.

I think I should make an article which showcases him better and proves his notability although I was happy with him just being mentioned in the Port Talbot section. How would I go about making an article, although would have to get in touch with Peter first.

Many Thanks for your supportIttfellow (talk) 21:47, 12 March 2013 (UTC)

  • I would suggest making an article and submitting it to Wikipedia:Articles for creation after you're done with it. I suggest Articles for creation because you can have experienced editors look at it and see if he's notable enough for an article. Hello Lugia. I modified that page as it does not present any correct references. All the information there is extracted from hungarian-biased sources and there is no reliable reference. • Replacing it with "KURTOS KALACS" isn't the way to go about doing that. It's vandalism, which is why I kept reverting it. Just remove the content and explain why you did it in your edit summary. Lugia2453 (talk) 21:21, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
  • I agree, but nevertheless, as you verify what I am posting, you should verify the references. I will try to edit the article tomorrow but it is really disappointing that anyone can post these things here. The subject in question is strongly debated and citing references only from one side of a debate is biasing and misleading. (86.97.81.44 (talk) 21:28, 14 March 2013 (UTC))

Unconstructive Edits to Filipino American

As this is a Hughes Net Satellite Internet connection, it is unfortunately a Broadly Shared IP, meaning that its users are distributed randomly throughout the globe. I have no idea who made the unconstructive edit to the Filipino American article, but I sincerely hope she or he will refrain from such activities in the future. I will do my best to revert any unconstructive edits as soon as they appear. I will glad to be of assistance in this regard. If this IP appears to make many unconstructive edits in the future please consider that there are thousands of users who would be unduly adversely affected by a restriction in editing privileges or other punitive measure. Thank you for your consideration.

Updates to SearchHub wiki submission

Hi,

Thanks for reviewing my page.

I have read the "guidelines on the notability of websites" and the "golden rule"

As a consequence I have added citations to secondary reliable sources that are entirely independent of the subject. Please see the first line "SearchHub is an open source search community site dedicated to supporting the Apache Lucene and Apache Solr communities launched on November 12, 2012.[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]"

You also comment that "the majority of the given sources come from the subject itself" - Are the additional 5 citations above sufficient?

Thanks

Speedy Deletion

This article may meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion as an article about a band, singer, musician, or musical ensemble that does not credibly indicate the importance or significance of the subject. See CSD A7.

If this article does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself. If you created this page, and you disagree with the given reason for deletion, you can click the button below and leave a message, explaining why you believe this article should not be deleted. You can also visit the talk page to check if you have received a response to your message.

Note that once tagged with this notice, the page may be deleted at any time if it unquestionably meets the speedy deletion criteria, or if an explanation posted to the talk page is found to be insufficient.

Note to administrators: this article has content on its talk page which should be checked before deletion.

Please consider placing the template: ==Speedy deletion nomination of ReNock9==

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ReNock9 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. • Perhaps move the tips to the talk page off of the article, and message the IP about writing tips like these in the article's talk page. Don't just give the IP some generic warning about vandalism or whatever, because that's not what it is. Generic warnings aren't always the way to go in situations like this. User Gacorno

Hello,

You seem to have been moving a lot of the pages that User Gacorno has been making... just wondering, why have you not deleted the pages and (potentially) blocked the user, as it appears that all of these pages are autobiographical (given the user's name), that the user has created many pages with the same title, and that the user is creating the pages after they have been speedily deleted, but under a different name (seeUser talk:Gacorno).

Thanks,

ModelUN (talk) 00:35, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

  • I'm not an admin, so I can't delete pages and block users. Also, I've only moved one of the user's pages to different titles, because the title doesn't need to be in all caps. Secondly, why block this user? The article the user created seems fine to me, so a block just seems unfair. I realize the user has created other articles on the same person, but is it really fair to block the user? The article had a good amount of sources before, so there's no reason to delete it, and especially no reason to block the user. Can't we do something other than a block - you know, try and discuss this with the user? Lugia2453 (talk) 00:41, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I just wanted to inform you that with 86.140.65.127 I proceeded with the action of reporting them toWP:AIV. It seems that they only want to make malicious, spammy edits (as they did ~12 times) on pages. Would you agree with this motion? (I'm new to Wikipedia; any criticism is greatly appreciated. You seem to be very well-versed with Wikipedia) Thanks! ChaseAm(talk) 00:29, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for reaching out to me about your action. I do appreciate your watching Wikipedia. I honestly thought I was following the guidelines very carefully when I added the links. Most Wikipedia articles do have external links. The guidelines say it is appropriate when they offer additional information that is not included in the article. These links are all to research based articles by an expert in the field. The links all include critical information about selling which is not currently in the Wikipedia article. Yes, the Wikipedia article does need to be re-written and points added. I fully intend to do that. Until I have the time to write those, I felt that at least letting readers know there was additional information on this topic would be helpful. — Preceding unsignedcomment added by Donshapiro (talkcontribs) 01:10, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

KSEVT article, low?

Hello! Thank you for your review and approval of the article on KSEVT. I was just wondering, how come that the article got a "LOW" mark in importance, when it is perfectly clear that it is an ambitious international project, though in a specific field of science and art, but nonetheless. That is my only bigger remark for now. Thank you! --Vladotepesh (talk) 16:42, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

I know at the time it wasn't labeled as such, but the Alice Eagly article is a course assignment. You deleted a lot of User talk:Adoyle6's work. Please let the student complete work on this article before making huge changes like that. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:00, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

Gary Lynn Comstock, verifiable content question

Dear Lugia2453, Thank you for reviewing my submission for a page on "Gary Lynn Comstock." You did not approve it because it needs to have sources that are verifiable. Can you please tell me how to fix this problem? As best as I can tell, all of the references listed are publicly accessible, peer reviewed, and easily verified. I've read the Wikipedia guidelines for "verifiable content" and, again, checked to ensure that everything on that page meets the guidelines. I'd appreciate any assistance you can give me. Thank you. Hoaxes

I have some real concerns about your judgement in regards to removing speedy delete templates. Here you removed a hoax speedy deletion tag with the message "doesn't appear to be a hoax". The article claims the subject has appeared in commercials, tabloids, and television programs. However, the only web presence Leonardo von Morenberg seems to have is a blog started on April 1st and this entry on Wikipedia. For someone who has appeared in tabloids and on television you would think that there would be some mention of this person, yet there is none. There isn't a Facebook profile, and there are zero mentions anywhere in the news. It is claimed that von Morenberg has a LinkedIn profile, but either it was entered incorrectly or the moderators at LinkedIn have already deleted it because it is clearly a hoax. Here you removed a speedy delete hoax tag from Vicaso Group with the message "A hoax, really? It has its own website and logo, for Pete's sake!" I'm sure you know that there are any number of software programs that can be used to create logos in a matter of minutes. As for the website, it was created onApril 5. It's less than 48 hours old. There are a number of awards listed on both pages. One from Bizmonth Review, the only web presence of this review appears to be these two articles. In fact the only mention of any of these awards with the organizations that supposedly awarded them are from these two articles and the Vicaso Group website that is only two days old. So I am curious, what in the world lead you to believe that these are not hoaxes? It seems to me that anyone who gives these more than a cursory glance can see that they are hoaxes, so I'm wondering what you saw that made you confident enough to remove two speedy deletion tags. AniMate 05:31, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Both have been nominated for deletion, and I'd appreciate you chiming in at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vicaso Group andWikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leonardo von Morenberg. AniMate 05:36, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
I have speedy-deleted them - undoubted hoaxes, with absolutely no independent confirmation, which we should not allow to linger. You wrote "it has its own website and logo", but those are very easy to make; and the website does not look like that of a 12-year-old, $1 bn dollar company. It was only registered on 5 April, and is remarkably short on detail - only three pages, a lot of "coming soon", and (a classic sign of a hoax) no checkable postal address or telephone number. We get these all the time - here is another belonging tothis "15-year-old mega-millionnaire" from last month. Regards, JohnCD(talk) 11:01, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Lashenden Air Warfare Museum

Interested to no why you thought this didnt meet the criteria for A3, the one sentence article text was a rephrase of the title and an external link - A3 says a rephrasing of the title, external links and category tags, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 19:15, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

  • I take the criteria to mean just reposting the title without any more information. This article has information about where it's located, so it has some content. I don't think this article should be deleted - what it really needs is expansion and sources. It's a perfectly good stub, so why delete it? Lugia2453 (talk) 20:34, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
OK no problem I can see where you are coming from, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 21:10, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Unnecessary revert war

Next time, I think you should just request for an admin to block a vandal IP instead of getting into a revert war with IP198.188.171.234 like you did at PlayStation 4. Constantly reverting the IP like that clutters up the history, which is unnecessary. Since you're a reviewer/rollbacker, I thought you should've known this already. Blocked per your report. I can't remember the last time I performed an indefinite VOA block as I did here, since I don't normally see users as irreeemable after just a few edits. However, the username issue and the stuff he was inserting into the article combined to make me doubt that he had any chance. Nyttend (talk) 21:18, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Fructose

I don't understand how saying fructose is a poison and responsible for childhood obesity is destructive. I believe everyone has a right to state the truth and inform people when there is an issue this important. What are you doing - living in your computer 24/7 and deciding who can say what? wikipedia is not a soap box. I also removed one of your edits to the entry on high fructose corn syrup. If you include citations to reputable sources your edits can stay. If it is such a clear issue for you finding the appropriate references should be no problem.

  • First things first, I'm a sir, not a madam. Secondly, I declined your article because you didn't have enough references to show the notability of the subject. If you can find more secondary, reliable sources such as news articles on your subject, that would be great. It would also be great if you would sign your posts with four tildes. Hi Mr Lugia, Thanks for your quick reply. i want you to remind the references which are mentioned in article are approved by Govt of india, i request you to check document and news articles are not reliable.we can't display registration certificate and other legal copies, if you feel Indian government reference document are still not reliable. i request you to decline my article. — Precedingunsigned comment added by Jayanthsugavasi (talkcontribs) 21:02, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
