How do you make an archive page? I'm Intelligent! (talk) 18:44, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Your userpage

I've removed your userpage because of our best practices regarding childrens' privacy. Please be careful in the future to not reveal personal information about yourself, such as your real name, birthday, school, address, AIM or phone number. People on the internet are not always who they say they are, and you may be exposing yourself to danger by doing so. east.718 at 07:35, May 13, 2008

Can you enable your email so I can send you the page's contents? And please understand that this was as much for your benefit as ours - many users who claim that they are children may be law enforcement, PeeJ-style privacy testers, trolls, or child predators. east.718 at 20:35, May 13, 2008
...and sent. By the way, an administrator on Commons removed your photo from there too. east.718 at 20:43, May 13, 2008
Yeah, I noticed that. I'm replacing it with a picture of my guitar instead. [The Spooky One] | [t c r] 20:49, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Userpage deleted

Your userpage has been deleted as it displays detailed private information on an individual who is a minor. This is a personal safety danger for that individual. You may challenge the deletion at WP:DRV however please do not restore the page. MBisanz talk 07:38, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

May 2008

Please do not remove information from articles, as you did to Pain for Pleasure. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed even if some believe it to be contentious. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. You also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you. Timmeh! 22:18, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Banshee Song

I've changed this back to a redirect as per the AfD decision. If you think that I closed the AfD incorrectly, the generally accepted proceedure is to either discuss it with me or bring it up at deletion review, not just unilaterally revert.--Fabrictramp (talk) 00:33, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

{{db-nocontext}}

Please note that the {{db-nocontext}} tag should only be used when an article is so vague that you can't figure out what it is talking about. If the article deals with a recognizable topic, you may wish to consider use of proposed deletion or the articles for deletion process instead. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 05:22, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Also, I would recommend against using the {{articleissues}} template with a "laundry list" of problems. Please just tag the article with the most significant issues. If the article is cleaned up, presumably it will also get wikified, be copyedited, have context added, and be updated too as part of the same process. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 05:33, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Dildozer.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Dildozer.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:07, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Inadvertant Removal from Release Version List?

Hello Luke,

In this edit it looks like you inadvertantly removed some articles when restoring others. For example, Prince's Palace of Monaco, Japanese art, and others. Please check and restore if so.

Thanks!

Thanks so much for your support in myRfA, which closed successfully this morning. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 17:46, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Prostitution in Europe

Prostitution in Europe has become a very large and unwieldy article. Rather than merging more articles into it, I would suggest forking them off to separate articles and trimming the main article down considerably. What do you think? Kevin (talk) 05:04, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

I see you have been adjusting links on player names in the 1936 NFL Draft My apologies if you feel you've been rail-roaded however I've been cleaning up and reducing the linked names in the early era NFL Draft series and have undone your work of earlier today. No harm however as all of your edits remained red links regardless. Keep in mind when it comes to names of individuals eventually even a blind dog finds a bone. My estimate is some 30% of the links in early era sports articles do not link to the correct individual. Please verify your links to individuals, or leave them un-touched until you start a stub article appropriately named. The older an athletics related article the less likely your going to find the right player. Slysplace talk 21:59, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Main Page/Test

I've undone your edit to Wikipedia:Main Page/Test. It is an old test page for the Main Page and shouldn't be edited: see Wikipedia talk:Main Page/Test for the discussion about it. Graham87 11:01, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Pain For Pleasure.png

Thank you for uploading Image:Pain For Pleasure.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by an adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 19:20, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
