Silver Airways logo

Hello Luketf,

I noticed you edited Silver Airways and added their new logo to the page. I went to the image’s commons page (found here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Silver_Airways_Logo_2023.png#mw-jump-to-license) and noticed you uploaded it claiming it as your own work. Do you work at/for Silver and are the creator of the logo? The logo’s copyright should be owned by the airline, unless there’s a reason you would hold the copyright. I wanted to check if you truly do hold the copyright. If not, the licensing information on the logo’s page needs to be changed to reflect the fact the copyright holder is the airline. I'm an employee of the airline but not the creator of the logo. I'll change the licensing information on the logo's page to reflect the fact the copyright holder is the airline. Thanks for the heads up!

Alright good to know, I’m not too familiar with uploading images but have done it a few times and I know there’s an option for logos and other non-free images. Just wanted to make sure the information is accurate so it wouldn’t cause a problem or get removed. Just wanted to point it out! VenFlyer98 (talk) 07:36, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
