Raster replacement
editIf you want help improving our images, please see Commons:Help:SVG and our image policy. You can ask for further help on a relevant talk page or Wikipedia:Graphics Lab, but just embedding a raster image into a vector image does not accomplish anything. Remsense ‥ 论 00:25, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, what do you mean embedding into a vector? I didn't know it had to be a vector which is my mistake and I apologize but, I didn't just put the raster into a vector, I made my graphic in google drawings which allows you to save things as vectors, and i just saved it as a vector and reuploaded. So, what's wrong? (Sorry if I seem kinda rude or anything I'm new to this and just wanted to compile a more readable graphic with more up to date measurements and colors.) - Oh! I'm sorry, that's my bad. So, one of the issues remaining with your image as it is is the text is not selectable—it's presently just shapes. A potential improvement would be replacing it with accessible text. As it stands, it's text that is not accessible as it is embedded in an image, see WP:ACCI. - I'm not really sure how to do that since I'm new to this. LunaTheSilly (talk) 00:33, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
- I'm sorry for being abrupt earlier. I could take a look and see what I can do if you want—for the moment, you could ask on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Astronomy or somewhere else to see what other editors think about the changes and see if they have any additional suggestions. Remsense ‥ 论 00:36, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks for your help! Also I would be happy to let you see what you could do, so please go right ahead. LunaTheSilly (talk) 00:39, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
- Also I'm kind of curious, is clickable text really required? The original image that I made a remake of which was the one I was replacing plus the graphic on the Dwarf planet page don't have clickable text either. I'm a little confused. LunaTheSilly (talk) 00:45, 26 September 2024 (UTC)

editHi LunaTheSilly! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Dwarf planet several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Dwarf planet, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. ZZZ'S 23:08, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know there's a better way to do this! I've started a discussion on the Dwarf planet talk page now, sorry for any trouble. LunaTheSilly (talk) 23:40, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
