Spam in Libra (Academic Search)
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Libra (Academic Search), by Pybalo (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Libra (Academic Search) is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Libra (Academic Search), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 15:48, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi, Luogang. Because your contact, I'm assumming good faith (WP:AGF) for your edits. I propose you re-think about them:
- Libra (Academic Searh), practically was a copy from http://libra.msra.cn/about.htm. See WP:COPYVIO
- CiteSeer, Google Scholar, ¿Why the first external link was linking to Libra instead the topic subject? See WP:SPAM. I need extra patience for assume good faith on these...
- Microsoft Research Asia. If you have no really interesting to say about that, a temporal redirect to Microsoft Research may be more useful.
Important: If you are affiliated with MRA, I suggest you read carefully WP:COI.
Welcome to Wikipedia. --pybalo 20:35, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Ok, man! I will be happy if you continue contributing (Libra & MSRA included) in a WP:NPOV manner. If you are in trouble, search in the policies and guidelines (WP:PG) and/or use the most of your common sense. It works! ;) Bye...
