Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Jewzip per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jewzip. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 00:42, 5 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

This is the only account that belongs to me, and I don't understand what activity is being challenged. The only possible action that could have generated this misunderstanding should be the creation on a page on "Attilio Meucci" that I prepared, without publishing it, between last July and August. Attilio Meucci is the administrator of a company (ARPM) that requires all applicants for Marketing positions in his company to prepare a sample Wikipedia page. I guess the presence on several accounts of such a page may have made one think of multiple accounts of a single person. This is not the case.

Incidentally, my working relationship with Attilio Meucci and ARPM ended last December and there is no conflict of interest, having just no interest in wanting to maintain a page on this person. Lusserra (talk) 08:48, 6 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

As noted below, you give no reason to remove the block, such as edits you wish to make. If you do not intend to make edits, there is no need to remove the block. You may simply stop using and abandon this account. If you change your mind later, though, you will need to again request unblock here. 331dot (talk) 11:05, 6 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The preferred term is "article", not "page". That's a very poor requirement on their part which is going to get anyone that attempts to do so blocked as a sock puppet. More specifically this is called meat puppetry. Since you aren't going to edit about him or his company, what edits will you make? 331dot (talk) 09:54, 6 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I may have used the wrong term describing the issue. In don't need to make any edit for them. I've already informed the IT Manager that this is a dangerous request. I just want to remove what I made on July and going back to a full operative account. Lusserra (talk)

You may also want to tell this manager to read the essay entitled "When your boss tells you to edit Wikipedia". It is not correct for him to direct others to edit Wikipedia for the company's benefit. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:58, 6 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Let me clarify: I write an article on my sandbox to present the essay. I will do my best to notify them about this issue.
How can I help to remove the block? Lusserra (talk) 15:02, 6 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
You have an open unblock request, so you will just have to wait until an administrator reviews your request. I am not an administrator, so I cannot expedite this process. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:09, 6 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
