edit

Hello, I'm MrOllie. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 15:31, 21 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Raman spectroscopy, you may be blocked from editing. MrOllie (talk) 19:40, 21 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

can you be more specific which parts violate the neutral point of view? Lv9454 (talk) 19:43, 21 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Since you have indicated that you are working on a student assignment, please direct your instructor to Wikipedia:Education program. It appears that the assignment you have been given is not following proper practices for such things. You should not be edit warring to put student edits into an article, and if your assignment is requiring you to do that for a grade it is not in compliance with our guidelines on student editing. - MrOllie (talk) 18:56, 25 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Drmies (talk) 02:12, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • So--you're edit warring over non-neutral content. Besides that content sounding promotional (claims of greatness are, for instance, sourced but not adequately ascribed to the author of the book), it also violates a bunch of our Manual of Style guidelines, it's excessive, and, to make matters worse, the reference is a book published by a sketchy publishing company. In addition, I wonder if you have a conflict of interest with the book's author, Alexander Rzhevskii. Does he teach at your university? Drmies (talk) 02:19, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
