Article Selection

I have three articles that I am interested in. The first is The Allman Brothers Band Museum, the second is Rose Hill Cemetery, and the third is Sidney Lanier Cottage.

The Allman Brothers Museum[[1]] article includes a paragraph describing the history of the museum, and who all lived there. It discusses who has since bought the house, but there is very little information about the museum and anything concerning the museum aspect of it. It is written neutrally. The sources come from the website of the museum.

The Rose Hill Cemetery[[2]] article does a great job giving a brief history of the cemetery, and includes a list of noteworthy people who are buried there. The article is brief, and I feel that it could go more in depth with the history of the cemetery. It is written neutrally. The sources come from the cemetery's website, the National Park Service Wikipedia page, and The Macon Telegraph. The link given to the Macon Telegraph article does not work.

Sidney Lanier Cottage[[3]] is part of two WikiProjects- WikiProjects Georgia and WikiProjects Register of Historic Press. The article is very brief, but does have a neutral tone and reliable sources. It includes a brief history of the home, when it was purchased by the Middle Georgia Historical Society, and how it serves as a museum today. LynzeeWhite (talk) 16:17, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

Sources for Article

The article that I have selected is Sidney_Lanier_Cottage. The cottage was the previous home, and now museum, of poet Sidney Lanier. The article does give a short history of the past of the home, but not much information regarding the current state of the museum. I have added hours of operations, but would like to contribute more about the museum. I would like to focus on the present use of the home. The citation that I used for adding hours of operation was to the Historic Macon website. I would like to continue to use that website as a source of information. Another source of information is the Sidney Lanier Cottage website directly for the museum that gives information about the history of the home, which I may use to broaden the History section of the Wikipedia page. A news article was written just a few weeks ago, in May 2019, about the home. The link can be found here. @LynzeeWhite I haven't been to Sidney Lanier Cottage in so long. I know there used to be a summer camp done there. I did it when I was little. We would travel to various old buildings in downtown, learning about history and architecture. Also a fun fact, some of the film "42" was filmed across the street from there.
