Neutrino Mass vs Flavor

How can a neutrino flavor be regarded as having a mass (see table at neutrino), since (if I understand neutrino oscillation) mass and flavor don't commute? --Michael C. Price ^talk 10:29, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
