External links
editI notice that you have been including some external links in the body of the text of an article. The guidance is at WP:External links, & that defines which external links are appropriate, & says that those should be in a separate section at the end of the article. It is possible that some of what you've currently got as external links might reasonably be changed either to wikilinks if the subjects have articles, or otherwise to references. - David Biddulph (talk) 10:50, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
- Where text is coloured, as in wikilinks in the previous paragraph, it means that it is a link, and if you read it you will find useful information. In your recent edits, you hadn't inserted a wikilink, but merely an external link to the internet URL of the Wikipedia page. I have corrected this for you; again this is a link which you can click to see what I did. - David Biddulph (talk) 13:06, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
License tagging for File:1930-Approx-ThePacific-CableSteamer-Shanghai-c1930.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:1930-Approx-ThePacific-CableSteamer-Shanghai-c1930.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:05, 1 April 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 12
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited CS Pacific, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Capstan. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
