– User:East718 implmented it [1] an no one has since reverted him or complained to my knowledge. Thank you to all who contributed. - MBisanz talk 16:34, 6 January 2008 (UTC)- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
Feel free to add comments or suggestions on this proposal which I believe will reduce the number of off-topic entries on WP:AN and WP:AN/I and to a lesser extent, the other major noticeboards and request pages. This proposal does not attempt to restrict anyone's ability to edit a page or "whitewash" complaints away, it only seeks to direct users to other pages where their questions might be answered better/faster/more appropriatly. - Let's say unless the discussion is still going or is very difficult to judge, this discussion will end on 12 January 2008. I'll probably ask an uninvolved admin to interpret consensus, since I'm obviously biased in this matter. MBisanz talk 06:48, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

edit- Where is the template used, or what is its purpose? -- SEWilco (talk) 16:19, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- Its used at the top of most of the pages linked to from the current template as a nav-box to help users who have an issue navigate to the correct page to post. Its sort of like a disambiguation template. MBisanz talk 19:35, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- You don't seem to be proposing much of a change; the only difference between the current template and your proposal is one apostrophe. -- Denelson83 10:29, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- That would actually be as User:East718 implmented it as I was sleeping. So now the current version is the proposed version. MBisanz talk 16:26, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
