Your recent edits
editHi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 23:25, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Supavadee Phangkaew
editErm, excuse me, are you the model herself--you appear to be one from your edits.
Perhaps it would be good if you can provide some external web links to the model in person; articles without external links are dubious and are subjected to scrutiny under Wikipedia:Cite your sources: If you have any web links of the model it would be beneficial to secure the article's credibility; I do not want articles to be labelled "citation needed" tags by tgose sysops. Feel free to ask me any questions if necessary. Thank you.Mr Tan (talk) 06:59, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Please stop disrupting Michael Willis
editThe article will not be "back to the political scientist." You cannot usurp this article name like that. Furthermore, as has been repeated before. The political scientist article was deleted because no verifiable sources were provided to assert the subject's meeting WP:BIO. Your vandalistic edits to this article have not helped your cause. Your actions of adding irrelevant content to this article and moving this article and its talk page are disruptive. You need to stop doing that. It's getting you nowhere and undermines whatever claim to reasonableness you might have. Obviously, from the sources provided, there is a Michael Willis who is an America actor. The article about the other Michael Willis was deleted as the result of this deleted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Willis. Feel free to recreate Michael Willis (Political Scientist) when you can provide verifiable sources. Cheers, and happy editing. Dlohcierekim 17:07, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Rhetoric
editBTW the "vandal" rhetoric is getting old. The political scientist article was deleted by community consensus. If one who edits against consensus is a vandal, then to whom does the label apply? Calling those who disagree with you vandals is inflammatory, disruptive and insulting. It is an empty cliché and perhaps even lame. It only undermines your position. Decline reason: Pretty clearly sockpuppets of each other. No go. ~ Riana ⁂ 15:23, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- I've contacted Natalie for comment. In the meantime, it appears that you and Ernie have a fair amount in common -- is there an explanation for that which doesn't involve violations of WP:SOCK? Any answer would be appreciated. – Luna Santin (talk) 10:43, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
I've blocked the sockpuppet Ernienotsowise (talk · contribs) indefinitely and applied a 48-hour block to this account. MCVerstappen: read our policy against sockpuppetry for an explanation. This was a transparent attempt to use false accounts to give the appearance of support for a position that has no support. Mangojuicetalk 15:26, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- This looks pretty cut and dried to me as well. The underlying IP has also made similar edits to Michael Willis. Natalie (talk) 22:19, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, I would never have imagined sockpuppetry was afoot. Dlohcierekim 02:50, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Agenda 2000, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.rp6.de/durchfuehrung/glossar?GlossarBuchstabe=a&GlossarSprache=en. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 00:08, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Notability of David Gilchrist
editA tag has been placed on David Gilchrist requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 15:48, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:UnityParty.JPG
editThank you for uploading Image:UnityParty.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Proposed deletion of Andrew Thorpe-Apps
editThe article Andrew Thorpe-Apps has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Nottingham Economic Review not a substantial paper to indicate a notable journalist, and an online campaign to be London mayor in 2012 does not meet WP:POLITICIAN
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Saalstin (talk) 17:45, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Saalstin (talk) 18:09, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
