Eppefleche: I am at a loss as to what you are talking about. This is not original research, it does not advance a position, it is not a novel synthesis. I cited three reliable sources in this paragraph. They are not from wikipedia but from art journals and books. Nowhere does wikipedia say this is not allowed. I will now be working with the women artist project. I will be talking with them about this. Please do not keep removing what I have put up. Thanks.MIkabella (talk) 22:48, 6 May 2014 (UTC)

I am not questioning a source. I am saying you engaged in synthesis. Do not combine material from multiple sources to reach or imply a conclusion not explicitly stated by any of the sources. If one reliable source says A, and another reliable source says B, do not join A and B together to imply a conclusion C that is not mentioned by either of the sources. Please tell me which exact parts of each sentence do you consider to be original research. I have looked at many men and women artist pages and they do not differ from mine so far. To help you get the hang of it, look at the first sentence you want to add. You write "Char Davies' ... is an internationally known ... artist ... known for her pioneering artworks ...." What independent RS states that she is "internationally known? What independent RS states that her art is "pioneering" -- and even then, it is in the opinion of that RS, if there is one. Thanks for that but what about the second sentence which is almost a quote from the book from which I cited it from. This is considered a reliable source in the artworld. BTW what community do I refer to and do you know the subject? What about the third sentence and fourth sentences? These seem to me to be facts. 3. You wrote "this a community project". That community.

4. I and other editors routinely delete uncited material, per wp:v.

5. Though it refers generally to articles and not sentences, you may well find instructive the language in wp:otherstuffexists.
