As I am one of the founders of mazoom.mobi, I can't create the topic "Mazoom", as that would violate wikipedia's conflict of interest policies. So I am putting this out there, to find an independent editor who will create the topic.
General information: Mazoom is a 'pure' mobile search engine for smartphones, which delivers 100% mobile web results, launched in October 2012 at the domain mazoom.mobi. Mazoom also provides local / map search for the UK & US markets, native app search for iOS & Android, as well as news search, aggregated from "smartphone ready" news sources.
Pre-launch development cycle: June 2011 - October 2012.
Launch: October 2012.
Native search apps for iPhone and Android phones released in January 2013.
Founders: Marcus Persh, Joe Persh & Alex Persh.
Mobile search technologies: Mazoom has developed and continues to develop proprietary mobile technologies that enable it to differentiate "smartphone ready" mobile web pages from their desktop counterparts. This area of research is constantly evolving as the mobile web continues to evolve.
