editYou are welcome to give insight on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michele Abeles. Thank you. Sro23 (talk) 04:07, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
- Hi. I'm a Wikipedia administrator and I have the technical ability to delete this article, though I suspect I would get yelled at from several other administrators if I did it right now, as I don't have the authority to delete biographies unless they are obviously libellous and hurtful, which I have to say this one isn't. To cut a long story short, the article was created by somebody at one of Wikipedia's galleries, libraries, archives, and museums workshops at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation; biographies of women are very popular on Wikipedia, through the efforts of Rosiestep and Keilana (amongst others) who have promoted the apparent systemic bias of biographies towards men. Sro23 did the right thing to send the article for a deletion debate, and while my preference is to keep the article (for the systemic bias reasons just explained), I am not in the business of upsetting people so I will defer to deleting it if there is no strong consensus to do otherwise. I hope that's of use, and if you need any further information, feel free to drop me a line at my talk page. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 14:56, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
