Baltic Estonia

edit

Hi Maalane, I think the article you created on Baltic Estonia is better covered by the already existing article Baltic states - this covers the background and history, as yours had, and it very comprehensive. If you think that your article covers a significantly different topic you can recreate it at the same place but you need to be clear on what the article is about and how it is different. Best wishes |→ Spaully ~talk~  17:07, 27 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

No! This article wants to point out what Estonia shares exactly with Latvia and Lithuania, especially Latvia. Do not delete it please! Estonia shares a lot of commonalities with Latvia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maalane (talkcontribs)

I'll let you see where you take it then, but reading both articles now I think it is likely it will end up being merged or redirected into Baltic states which covers Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Wikipedia isn't a place to share your opinions, articles should rely on reliable sources and should not be what we refer to as original research meaning making a new argument with existing sources. All of this is covered in the welcome note above.
There is a risk you will put lots of time into this article and in the end it will be merged - you might be better off seeing what you can add to Baltic states if you feel it doesn't cover the topic well. |→ Spaully ~talk~  20:17, 27 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I put a lots of time and it is not my opinion but the article is in correspondence with wipipedia rules. And even if someone wants to see it as my "opinion" when why do you let to be in wikipedia articles related to Estonia and Baltic countries which are in my opinion almost completely biased and what base only on their authors´ personal opinions.(They are in fact awful- no information, only specially ´hunted out´ "facts" and personal, biased opinions their authors. In case of need I can refer to these articles what I mean. And if someone still really thinks my article deserves no place I will most respectfully the responsible people of wiki to delete or merge those biased articles as well.) We will defend our article and do not let it to merge into other articles. I have already I think critically edited my article and pointed out the commonalities between Estonia and Latvia and leaving Lithuania a bit on the background. One can take it as a compromise. with regards, Maalane

Hi, exactly what does this article refer to? One wouldn't write an article called "Scandinavian Sweden" or "European Germany", would you? An article should have a subject that is clear. There is nothing in this article that isn't part of the Estonia article or the Baltic states article. I suggest you either rename it and keep a tight focus on exactly what the subject is, or merge it with "Baltic states". Thanks. Yakikaki (talk) 18:39, 28 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
Edit: I see that my comments may seem a bit harsh; I apologize if you think so. I admire your ambition. But I think it takes some thought and editing to do this in the right way. Best regards, Yakikaki (talk) 18:41, 28 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi, no problem. I would like to explain the article "Baltic Estonia". The article wants to explain how wide and deep-rooted actually are Estonia´s ties with other Baltic states especially Latvia. It gives some new information about that how these two countries are one unite in many aspects. The article Baltic Estonia wants to point out that being labelled as "Baltic" is not a priority of speakers of Baltic languages only. Even more- the article explains how Estonia in fact was labelled as "Baltic" way before than Lithuania! Estonia is really a Baltic country, not any Nordic wannabe country. This is a question of dignity and staidness.

Please, when will be the new article "Baltic Estonia" finally accepted? At the moment I can not find out it via google search. I kindly please to remain article Baltic Estonia as separate article.

The article needs a bit of editing. At the moment it is written as an argument, which is not according to Wikipedia standards. It should be written as a presentation, presenting the line of thoughts, movements and actors who claim Estonia should be defined as a Baltic country instead of as a Nordic. You can look a bit at how Nordic Estonia is structured (although that article is also not perfect in many ways, not least the choice of title). Yakikaki (talk) 15:12, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please, do not delete it. I would like to explain the article "Baltic Estonia". The article wants to explain how wide and deep-rooted actually are Estonia´s ties with other Baltic states especially Latvia. It gives some new information about that how these two countries are one unite in many aspects. The thing is that there are some wikipedia fighters from Estonia who have fulfilled wikipedia with in my opinin 100% propagandistic stuff there they try to "prove" that Estonia is not Baltic but "Nordic". Those authors know perfectly what are the Nordic countries in reality and what aren´t but they try to brainwash wikipedia readers and make them to believe that things are so like they believe. The article Nordic Estonia and Estonian ammendments to article nordic countries is biased and does not fulfill the wiki criterions in my opinion as it is stump speech and propaganda. Behind there is 1-2 estonian persons with Swedish roots. They represent in real life sort of 0,..0001% of Estonians. Their activity is ridiculous https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/27/Estonia_cannot_into_Nordic.jpg Sorry for being a bit emotional but the way how wikipedia is used as propaganda tool is very annoying, hypocritical and based on cherry picked and completely marginal facts... It is regrettable that such things happen in wikipedia. The article Baltic Estonia wants to point out that Estonia is really a Baltic country. This is a question of dignity and staidness what we unfortunately seem to lack as we want to be anybody else.

Please, when will be the new article "Baltic Estonia" finally accepted? At the moment I can not find out it via google search. I kindly please to remain article Baltic Estonia as separate article (at least as long as Nordic Estonia exists separately). Why has our article to go but such cynical lie like the article Nordic Estonia can stay?? The latter article consists simply some lies: estonian president has no said estonia is nordic, no estonian government has defined estonia as "nordic country"! You even have not asked the authors of that crap to give the sources. They can not give sources as there are no sources. I do represent view of real Estonians here, not view od Swedish (from Estonia). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Räcx2 (talkcontribs)
