Wikidata

edit

You don't really have to do anything with https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q28017188

Or if you wish to, find assertions that can be made about Lal Sena in the format used by wikidata ... I'm not familiar with the way in which militia are encoded on wikipedia, but there are lots of examples here: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/Q153936

In essence, you Add a property, and then select a value for the property. (So a property might be "political ideology" and the value "Islamism"). But if you're unfamiliar with wikidata, it all might seem a bit much. In which case someone else will improve Q28017188 at some later time. hth --Tagishsimon (talk) 00:34, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Tagishsimon Thanks for replying. Can you please let me know, in the mean time, will it affect the free viewing of the article Lal Sena on internet? because when ever I am searching Lal Sena on a search engine, I am never getting the Wikipedia link on the search engine ,rather I am getting "Lal Sena-Wikidata". --Maaley (talk) 00:46, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
No, it will have no effect at all, one way or another. Google seems to have issues indexing some wikipedia articles; every so often, someone pops up asking 'why isn't x showing up on google'. I'm afraid I don't know why ... it happens. Sometimes it seems to get solved. Sometimes not. I'll see if I can find another example - I came across one in the last month, if I can remember where to find it. There's pretty much nothing you can do except to submit the page to google (which I'll do) and then hope. (Google lists 99.9% or articles seconds after they are created. So it's a bit weird.) Nice article, btw; thanks. --Tagishsimon (talk) 00:51, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Here is the last report I saw - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)/Archive_151#Still_no_Google_results - for Irina Nevzlin, which still is not being found. --Tagishsimon (talk) 00:57, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I understood the problem. Thanks for your generous replies. Hope it gets well.Maaley (talk) 02:05, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
