Kratka, Minnesota

edit

Hi there! Welcome to Wikipedia! I was just wondering if your article Kratka, Minnesota was about the same place as Kratka Township, Minnesota, and, if it was, whether you want to merge the two articles together -- see WP:MERGE for more details about how to do this. -- Karada 11:06, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I suppose they could be, but this was in referance to an actual former-community whereas Kratka Twp, which contains the farmstead where Kratka was, is a current place. But to merge, I guess one could place the Kratka article into the Kratka Twp article. Madbunny101 11:16, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Madbunny101. I've photographed a lot of towns near TRF and when I go to add a town that's part of a township, rather than a city, I've been adding it in the township article and then creating a redirect from the town's name. For example, I redirected Marcoux Corner, Minnesota to Lake Pleasant Township, Minnesota. The township articles already seemed pretty thin, so I figured both articles would be better off together. Also, regarding Mavie/Goodridge/MN NW Elec. RW, you may want to check out my response on Talk:Thief River Falls, Minnesota. You'll also find that Caryl at the Pennington County Historical Society in TRF and Norma at the Goodridge Historical Society can provide a lot of info. I think Goodridge Historical Society has the old depot that was on the rail line. You can also see an ad from the railway (selling stock!) on my Holt Weekly News site here: http://holtweeklynews.com/images/show/3383?search_text=Northwestern+Electric - Afiler 00:11, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
