Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Magnolia007. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Ali Shilatifard , you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Natureium (talk) 18:55, 17 March 2017 (UTC)

You apparently either have no idea what any of those terms in that word salad on my page means, OR you're lying. 2600:1017:B020:C6D5:6041:ADE7:352F:5803 (talk) 18:40, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
Please explain for what reason Magnolia007 has been reported? Be specific. The content that Magnolia007 has created is neutral and sourced. Assistance has also been sought from a Wiki administrator. Several edits have been made on this page that is unsubstantiated and may Boomerang on those who are making these claims of COI. The page has also been "cleaned up" per the COI template box suggestion. However, several editors including you seem intent on placing a COI warning. You must provide specific lines from the article that are not sourced to defend your position on placing the template box, otherwise is must remain removed.

editPlease do not edit war. Adding and or removing substantial amounts of material after such edits have been challenged is a no no. Once an edit has been challenged you should seek consensus on the talk page. Also do not remove maintenance tags without consensus that the issues have been resolved. Thank you for your contributions to the project. -Ad Orientem (talk) 18:37, 23 March 2017 (UTC) |

editYour recent editing history at Ali Shilatifard shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Ali Shilatifard, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Scr★pIronIV 19:36, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
- Consensus has been attempted on the Ali Shilatifard article talk page. I have requested suggested changes to clean up the article so that the COI box can be removed and no suggestions by either of the editors who have placed it have been made.Also, vailid reasons were given in the edit summary both times I removed the maintenance template, yet no valid reasons have been given for the COI. editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:44, 23 March 2017 (UTC)

No, I have no interest in stepping into a personal dispute between you and another user. You are welcome and encouraged to discuss it with them, rather than emailing random Wikipedians trying to get them to step in for you. I see no problem with @Natureium:'s actions on that article, anyhow. ~ Matthewrbowker Say something · What I've done 05:42, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
