Hello, I'm 77.4.180.114. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Babymetal, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 77.4.180.114 (talk) 23:20, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
Concerning your uncivil message, you should understand that Wikipedia has Policies and Guidelines. Adding material into a Wikipedia article without providing the required reference is a violation against Wikipedia's Core Content Policy of Verifiability. WP:BURDEN clearly stipulates that "the burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material". Attacking the editor who removed your unreferenced material is an act of incivility. Lastly, in Wikipedia there is no policy or guideline on "citation overkill". The link you provided is not a Wikipedia policy or guideline. It is an essay, the private non-binding viewpoint of other Wikipedia editors. It might be a good idea for you to fully acquaint yourself with the fundamental editing principles of Wikipedia. 93.133.30.132 (talk) 19:34, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
Please stop the incivility
editYou are well advised to stop sending uncivil messages to other editor's talk pages as you did here and here. The messsage template that was placed on your talk page because of your unreferenced addition of material was justified and called for. This is what Wikipedia's Core Content Policy of Verifiability stipulates: "Any material lacking a reliable source directly supporting it may be removed....". The burden to provide references lies with the Editor who added the material, not the Editor who removed the unreferenced material. If you feel that you have the right to bypass Wikipedia's core content policy of Verifiability by adding unreferenced material into Wikipedia articles, then rest assured that the next time you do this or send an uncivil message which contains name-callings and unfounded accusations of alleged harassment, you will be reported to the Administrator's board. 77.4.148.137 (talk) 18:00, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
