List of aircraft of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, List of aircraft of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. With all due respect, it's a list article. This feels like needless nitpicking for the sake of it. The article I separated it from, List of aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy doesn't cite any sources either. I made a talk page post on the original page suggesting it be split because the IJN and JMSDF are not the same organization and it's kind of strange to list them together. I got no response either way, so I went ahead and did it. There are sources available in all the articles linked that denote the usage of the aircraft listed therein by the JMSDF in some capacity or another. It is redundant to cite every single item in a list article, because the pages linked already do that. Mahboison (talk) 06:44, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
