Stats in Player Infoboxes

edit

Hi, please be aware that the stats in players' infoboxes contain only league games and apps (see here). --Jaellee (talk) 20:43, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

And if you update the stats in the infoboxes, please take care that you also update the "pcupdate" (for club goals and apps) or the ntupdate (for the national team) parameter. Thanks. --Jaellee (talk) 21:20, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Gligor Gligorov

edit

A tag has been placed on Gligor Gligorov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. 2010-11 winter transfers

edit

Hi Maklion, listen, can you tell me if there are any new foreign players in Macedonian First League now after the winter transfer window? I have followed the transfers at macedonianfootball.com but the last time they updated the list was already a while ago and by then there weren´t any. I touth that perhaps you know more. FkpCascais (talk) 02:07, 4 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks for you answer Maklion. I know that it is not easy to have much info on the League, that is why I touth that you might know more. Let me know if you get to know anything on that issue. My point was to add any new foreign players in Macedonia to the List of foreign footballers in top leagues of former Yugoslavia. Best regards, FkpCascais (talk) 19:17, 5 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you

Hi

edit

Maklion, please see the thread I opened on Macedonia national football team talk page. You can´t choose which players you like considering "notable" and which you don´t... And why 5? Says who, you? Why not 4 or 7? The list has to have a inclusion criterium, otherwise can be deleted. FkpCascais (talk) 21:45, 26 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I propose we list all other players that played over the year, like in National-Football-Teams.com. I am not sure you understand the WP problem of "choosing" players one editor prefers over anothers, and the reason why those types of decitions are avoided exactly because of it. Like in "Notable players" lists in clubs, where the community agreed to have inclusion criteriums, and not having particular editors choosing players they personally prefer, same as in this case... Why not Spirovski? Why is Spirovski worste then Despotovski? Why limit 5? See my point? We, wikipedia editors, don´t own articles, and we don´t have the right to impose certain decitions without any valid reason... FkpCascais (talk) 21:54, 26 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
But Maklion, you are wrong, most national team have is a "recent call-ups" section where all players in a certain period of time are included, regardless of the number of caps, or number of defenders/midfielders, or whatever. See England for exemple. Wikipedia allways encourages a strict inclusion criterium, like in English or Serbian case, against random lists which a specific editor prefers and which may be contested by another editor... That is exactly what I meant whith those questions (why Despotovski? Why X or Y?) because we need to have a inclusion criterium to have answers for those questions. FkpCascais (talk) 22:09, 26 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Maklion, sorry, but I still think you fail to understand that you can´t have 5 (why 5?) players per position, or anything else but all players called in last 12 months... I tried to explain that to you, but you still add players for wrong reason (5 per position). I opened a thread about this issue here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football#Macedonia_national_football_team and Talk:Macedonia_national_football_team#Other_notable_players.3F. Mario Gjurovski (2nd part)

edit

Hi Maklion. I was trying to expand the article and I noteced NFT site talks about his 7 caps with Vardar in 2000-01. Do you know any way so we could confirm this? I also noteced you already discussed some stats with Oleola earlier here, was about this? It sounds a bit unbeleavable, as he was only 15/16 at that time, but... If you know anything about this let me know. I also founded one source saying he played in the youth team of Cukaricki, and it is the club comemorative monografija, so I beleave is reliable as I doubt they would be lyeing about that and a relatevely recent period in a comemorative official book. Anyway, I just wanted also to say hi and tell you sorry for being hard on you about the Macedonian NT article, I just wanted to make you became more familiarised with wiki principles and how strict inclusion criteriums are easier to work with. I hope we can work together to improve as much as we can all Macedonian articles. Well, you have been doing a great job all around. Best regards. FkpCascais (talk) 05:57, 19 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

OK, we leave that information out by now as unconfirmed. If you ever find any website with squads and stats from past Macedonian League seasons, please let me know. Seems incredible that we still don´t have any Macedonian website with past seasons of MPL. In MacedonianFootball.com I only find current season teams, and I am desperatelly searching for team squads of past MPL seasons of the 1990s and 2000s. Darko Glisic

edit

Hi,

I saw you updated my mistake in the newest squad of the national team - thanks for correcting me, they are indeed friendly games, dont know what I was thinking LOL

But you also corrected Glisics position and said that he only plays as CB and no other positions and I think you have mistaken him with someone else. His natural position is definitely a (left) winger (that is also his position on Transfermarkt, and the position he always played for in the U-21 team and in all his former clubs back when he played in the Macedonian PMFL), but he can also play as left back (which is his secondary position), which he is in the matter of fact usually playing in his current club right now. So I was indeed in doubts whether to write him as midfielder or defender, and I dont mind leaving him as you changed it, but I was still confused if you had the right player in mind when you made the change since you said he only plays as CB and no other positions, which is surely not the case with Glisic so I was wondering if you made a mistake and thought of someone else, or were you indeed talking about him..?

Nobody owns any page on Wikipedia, and you have no right to shun anyone from it based on their nationality (we call that "bigotry"). If what you have written is true, prove it. That is the basis of Wikipedia. And you can't have a list of "Memorable matches", define to me what is a "Memorable match" and what is not. '''tAD''' (talk) 22:29, 1 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
