Hello, I'm Toddy1. Please read WP:NOINDICSCRIPT, which explains that we must "avoid the use of Indic scripts in lead sections or infoboxes." Your edit to the article on Siliguri put Indic script into the infobox, and has therefore been reverted.-- Toddy1 (talk) 08:17, 26 June 2024 (UTC)

Why I don't add any native name to India cities articles. Russian cuties articles have their own russian language name with russian script, why we don't add Indian cities name with indic text. It's totally unfair. Malhar1234 (talk) 09:53, 4 July 2024 (UTC)

Because we have a policy according to which you can't add Indian scripts in article leads and infoboxes. You can however in the other sections, if necessary. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:52, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
