While I'm sure (1) you could write a good treatise about the topic and (2) you could find others that share your cynicism of American capitalism, it would not be appropriate for Wikipedia as it would violate our policies of neutral point of view and no original research. If other notable authors or pundits have written about it, it may have a place somewhere in Wikipedia, though adding to United States would probably constitute undue weight.
