Maniac Pony
River Rye(Yorkshire)
editThanks for your correction to the article about the River Rye. I got the information about the River Bran from a very old book in Pickering library. I thought it was a bit suspect at the time as there were a few more embelishments in the text which I edited out.--Harkey Lodger (talk) 20:52, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Better late than never...
editHi, I noticed your work to Lealholm and came across your talk page. I'm horrified you haven't yet been formally welcomed to Wikipedia, so...

With regards to Lealholm, I thought it might be beneficial for you to visit the WP:UKCITIES project guideline, which would help you structure the article in a more standard way. Hope that helps, and best of luck with the article. --Jza84 | Talk 19:59, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi, I've reviewed the Lealholm article and placed it on hold for seven days. If the improvements are not made within that period, the article will not pass GA. It's a well written piece but sadly does not pass the GA criteria of broadness and verifiability. You may like to ask WikiProject Yorkshire for some help, they have editors experienced with the GA process and may be able to give pointers or even lend a hand. Good luck. Hello, Do you have any more information, maybe some John Davidson stuff, that could be put in the history section, please?--Harkey (talk) 18:14, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
