Hi,
I’m very new to Wikipedia so thank you for this: I’ve just been doing research on this particular ethnic group and thought it would be nice to provide more info on it.
If possible, could you suggest to me ways to write the source without violating Wikipedia’s policy/rules. More specifically, the quote consisting of the “Manyema women being able to give birth to wide variety of ethnic groups”. This help would be deeply appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Fellow Human! ManyemaKasongoDescendent (talk) 08:44, 10 August 2022 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Sjö. I noticed that you made a comment that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. On several pages you have called edits by other editors "RACIST AND EUROCENTRIC" which is unacceptable and you have also referred to some "“DIEU ET MON DROIT” COAT OF ARMS FROM THE BLAIR YEARS ". If you look at the previous edit you will see that you merely swapped an .svg version to a .png version of the same CoA. The images are very similar so I do not understand your agitation. - Hi ManyemaKasongoDescendent, the coats of arms are defined in the constitution of the RDC. These images are interpretations of the definition. Different branches of the government of the DRC have used several of them. The PNG from presidence.cd is a modified version of the SVG made from the original image I uploaded here in 2006 (File:Armoiries de la République démocratique du Congo - 2006.png). Some from other origin has also been used, notably the one from the Journal officiel. Which is the correct one? Is it the one used by the Presidence, the one used by the Parliament, the one used be CENI, or any other by other branches of the government? As long as it follows the definition in the constitution, it is the coats of arms of the DRC. --Moyogo/ (talk) 13:44, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
- Apologies for my agitation. Please take into account the insulting nature of having individuals create their own interpretations of emblems that representing a country of 100+ million people. The “Dieu et non droit” example was stated as illustrated of the deceptive justification for the use of that particular coat of arms: journal offciel, like many documents in her HM Government (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), should not be used as the official coat of arms of the state in question. Indeed, if government communications, social media and explicitly stated emblems - as illustrated on “symbole de la republique” page on presidence.cd - state which arms/emblems to use, it is for us to ensure that the correct one is used. I apologise for my previous expression of anger but please appreciate the insulting nature of having someone usurp the wishes of an African government and nation-state of 100 million people.
- Kind Regards,
