Regarding Maplestory

edit

I don't think it would be wise to re-add the link at this point. I've given User:219.75.107.97 the opportunity to more clearly outline their objections about having the site listed. If the reasons are good, then everyone can accept them - if they're bad, then everyone can point out why they're bad. Either way, we can come to a consensus and resolve the underlying issue. But more to the point of answering your question: the revert-war has stopped, and people seem interested in talking, so now is definitely not the time to make any more edits regarding the link. Not before there is a clear consensus on the talk page. Cheers. --PeruvianLlama(spit) 08:15, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

MapleStory (Gachapon)

edit

I know MapleGlobal has Gachapon, but they said GlobalMS twice, so I removed MapleGlobal. I probably should have removed GlobalMS, though,...

Data.wz

edit

What exactly do you mean by categories? Like reactors, monsters, items? I haven't looked at his code for a while, but check the directory structure and it should help a bit. If you're asking about if it tells what type of item each item is, IIRC thats also in the directory structure (not the one his program makes but what is stored in the file). -- Prod-You 04:52, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm actually writing my own program on not really using the other one. ATM I'm still trying to get pics working. I'll take a quick peek over the weekend at the items, but I can't promise anything. -- Prod-You 15:32, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, the comp I use for that is dead right now. So I can't try anything. I do know Wizet was trying a new encryption in their KMS beta archives so that could be the problem. I find that unlikely though, as I would assume it would take longer to get working in more than just the tester version. -- Prod-You 06:08, 7 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The main reason I haven't moved forward on this is because I can't read Korean :/. If the new encryption comes to MSEA or GMS, it shouldn't take too long to get past the string encryption. However, they may not even bother. Encryption in KTMS might be just to keep the new info secret as long as possible (once in the main clients, the whole world has access anywayz). They also changed the image format, which I haven't even tried to figure out yet. Additionally, I am hesitant to give out any information about the new encryption since last time public info was available, they changed it. Next time it may not be as easy to crack. -- Prod-You 05:06, 21 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Screenshots

edit

Screenshots only need the screenshot tag, see Image:Maple0495.jpg Mapletip 01:28, 27 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Screenshots also need to say what they're a screenshot of. It's rarely self-evident. --Carnildo 06:07, 28 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

My reason for personal attack on my page

edit

Now that I can edit again, let me jest say something. The reason why I get pissed of was bcause I saw this one episode of Kappa Mikey. So I wanted to add some more facts to the article, but everything I added the facts I saw in the episode, it got counted as vadalizism. Ican't believe that. How can someone think of blocking of someone else just for adding facts?

it did

you must be brain-dead! did you watch the premiere? ask any other user who watched it premiere on September 22nd. I bet you they'll say that patrick smartpants re-aired with it. It did premiere with new leaf because I watched the premiere and patrick smartpants did re-air with new leaf--74.128.245.70 18:50, 22 October 2006 (UTC)(chikinpotato11)Reply

AFD on Blue Frog

edit

Hello, I noticed that you put up a AFD tag on Blue Frog in today (October 29)'s page. I would like to notify you the correct order to nominate an article for deletion, which can be seen here.

AQu01rius (User | Talk | Websites)  17:51, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ok I will try. It's been nominated for deletion before however, and I don't think it will reach consensus. I will try to list it anyway. AQu01rius (User | Talk | Websites)  17:55, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's listed now in here. AQu01rius (User | Talk | Websites)  18:17, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I am also a maplestory player and I know that both Hidden Street and Maple Tip are famous fansites in the community. However, wikipedia articles are targetting general audience so I use Alexa to determine which one should be mentioned. Wikipedia is not a collection of links. Also, since you're a webmaster of Maple Tip, you are at direct conflict of interest. According to Alexa, Hidden Street has an overall rank of 1863 while Maple Tip has a ranking of 14,406. This indicates that Hidden Street is more than 9 times popular than Maple Tip. Now let's go through other fansites. Basil Market could be kept because it has a ranking of 2950. Happy Mapling has a ranking of 175,891. These are my determining factors for considering which fansites should be posted and which shouldn't be. OhanaUnitedTalk page 08:06, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't you realize that Alexa's ranking already included these already? If the users find the information useful, they will go there more, thus increasing traffic of that site. Any features (e.g. marketplace, wiki, forum, sig creator) will attract people, so Alexa has taken these factors in. Contents are subjective, but website traffic is objective, they can be counted and compared with easily. Regardless, I'll be taking out Happy Mapling because it's outdated and ranking is way too low to deserve to be mentioned. OhanaUnitedTalk page 05:48, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
If that is the reasoning, Sleepywood wouldn't qualify because it doesn't breach the 25,000 mark, why exclude one because it isn't as popular, thats conflict of interest as well - DaMirrorLinkTalk page 18:12, 14 July 2007 (GMT)

nationalledger.com unfortunately does not quality as a reliable source. As such, I have reverted your recent addition to Vanessa Anne Hudgens.
