Adoption
editI noticed you are looking to be adopted. I've been here 9 months and have something like 3700 edits. I don't know everything, but I know where to look for the stuff I don't know. :) Pax:Vobiscum 16:51, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Sure. Adoption is no big deal, just a way for new users to have someone to get advice from if they want to ask something. If you'd rather be adopted by someone else, feel free to browse the adopter list and ask someone there. Should you decide that you're not interested in being adopted just remove the box from your user page. Pax:Vobiscum 08:52, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Skinning
editIf you're having trouble with your skin I'd suggest blanking everything (both css and jscript) and starting over using code from the meta gallery. Then add new scripts one step at a time, so you can see which one is causing the trouble. Pax:Vobiscum 23:13, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
Presque Isle disambiguation
editI thought I'd let you know that I've reverted your edits to the article listed at Presque Isle, as links to disambig pages are generally not needed. If the link [[Presque Isle]] linked to an article and not a disambig page then their would have been a need for a link to the disambig. If you still don't get it, you can look here or you ask me to clarify (because sometimes I do not explain well).
One more thing if you ever have add links like that again, use {{for|other locations with the same name|Presque Isle}}. It creates this-
and is lot easier to use. --Dtbohrertalk•contribs 12:52, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- I am sorry if it sounded like I was being condescending (I wasn't trying be). There are a lot of other editors who probably would have marked it off as vandalism and posted a warning here and would not given it a second thought. I thought it was best to give you a reason why I was changing your edits in a way I felt was easy and understandable. If we still don't have an understanding, I apologize. --Dtbohrertalk•contribs 13:54, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Adoption
editCan't say I'm much of a sports fan. :) Since you're obviously hesitant I'm going to remove the adoption box, but if you ever have any question or need help, send me a message. Pax:Vobiscum 11:14, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

editHi, Marcus Taylor. I noticed you were seeking adoption, so I'd like to offer you my adoption services. If you would like to join in the fun, please leave a note on my talk page. I'm also a huge sports fan ;) Thanks, - G1ggy Talk/Contribs 08:10, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
