Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Taxa named by Calvin Henry Kauffman

A tag has been placed on Category:Taxa named by Calvin Henry Kauffman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Glad to see that this has been resolved by @Esculenta: who is active in the field of lichen and lichenologists, having written a bio for Acharius Medal winner Elisabeth Tschermak-Woess, while I was doing Rosmarie Honegger. --Oronsay (talk) 19:23, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
Me, too. I hadn't realised who was responsible, and the tag made me write an article, too... MargaretRDonald (talk) 19:34, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

RE: Ozothamnus Lepidophyllus

Thanks for letting me know, I had trouble understanding the edit summary, due to the lack of knowledge on the subject. You can request deletion if the information is factually wrong. That's better than blanking, because blanking will make the page show up on Special:ShortPages. Mainframe98 talk 20:29, 12 November 2021 (UTC)

Rewriting the article to be better is even better, of course. Thank you! Mainframe98 talk 20:31, 12 November 2021 (UTC)

Thanks @Mainframe98:. (I was in the middle of rewriting the page and had just hit publish to discover an edit conflict.... which threw me somewhat. Article now started and I have checked all the IDs and removed those which referred to the Hook.f. plant.MargaretRDonald (talk) 20:45, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
