Hello, I want to create a page for Albert Friedman but when I started and there appeared a question box and I saw that on deletion tab that it is blocked for some reason. I need help and want to know if I can write that. Appreciate help!Maria Taylor40 (talk) 13:51, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

- A previously existing article about an Albert Friedman was deleted per this discussion as promotional; repeated attempts to recreate it resulted in its being prevented from creation. If you have independent reliable sources with significant coverage of this person showing how he meets Wikipedia's special definition of a notable person, you may use Articles for Creation to create and submit a draft for review by another editor. (you would have to do this as a new user anyway, as new users cannot directly create any article) If your draft is accepted, the reviewer will deal with placing it in the encyclopedia.
- Be advised that successfully creating a new article is the absolute hardest task to perform on Wikipedia. New users who dive right in without fully understanding the process and what is expected of article content usually end up disappointed and with hurt feelings as their work is mercilessly edited and deleted by others. To avoid that, I strongly suggest that you spend some time editing existing articles in areas that interest you, to get a feel for how Wikipedia works and what is expected of article content. You should also use the new user tutorial. However, if you still with to attempt to create an article, you may do so using Articles for Creation as I mentioned above, you should also read Your First Article.
