Maria leijerstam
Welcome to Wikipedia! (... and a few other things ...)
editHello Maria, I hope that you have activated email notification or that you notice this message somehow.
First of all: Welcome to Wikipedia! It's already been a while since you registered as a user, but as nobody else has done it yet , I'd like to welcome you to Wikipedia. (I'm doing this as a regular user like any other, I'm not a Wikipedia representative or anything.)
Second: I found out about you "by accident" when I was searching for information about recumbent tricycles, and I was so impressed by what you have done, that I decided to write an article about you. I'm German, so the article is on the German Wikipedia. The final draft can be found in my user namespace as de:Benutzer:Tetris L/Maria Leijerstam or maybe it has already move to de:Maria Leijerstam. The article is in German, obviously, and unfortunately I'm too busy with other things right now to translate it to English in the near time. Anyway ... as I read you've lived in Germany for a few years, so maybe you can understand it, or use an automatic translation tool (e.g. Google Translate) to get at least the basics. Maybe you can read through the article and check the facts for any errors. If you find something, let me know, and I will correct it (or you can simply edit the article yourself, if you like).
Finally, I don't mean to pester you, but I have to point out two formal issues that you are probably not aware of as you're not familiar with the habits of Wikipedia:
- I assume that you are really the Maria Leijerstam portrayed on your user page. To make sure that it's you, and not somebody else who is impersonating you, it would be best if you'd provide some proof of your identity. For further information, see the Wikipedia username policy, section Real names.
- You've uploaded several photos of yourself to Wikimedia Commons, and stated your own name as the author (i.e. photographer). As you're shown on the photos, you can only be the photographer if you took the photos with delayed timer release. Is that the case? Because, if it's not, and somebody else took the photos of you, it is important that the photographer's name is stated and that the photographer himself declares his agreement with the conditions of the license under which the photo has been uploaded (in your case: CC by-sa 3.0). For more information, read this explanation, especially the last bulletpoint of section "Not own work".
That's it for the nagging. ;) Keep up the good work. I hope you will return to Wikipedia and post. --Tetris L (talk) 14:44, 31 July 2014 (UTC)

editHi, it looks like you aren't here or aren't interested in talking, but this is a courtesy message to tell you that I am nominating the content of your user page for deletion because it looks like it's acting as a web host, which is not permitted. You are again strongly encouraged to disclose your conflict of interest, if any, and follow the WP:COI guidelines on editing pages you are closely connected to. Thank you. — Brianhe (talk) 21:29, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
