This user is a student editor in Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/UW_Bothell/B_WRIT_135_Research_Writing_(Fall_2017). Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. WikiProj Assign 3
editThe three articles I want to use for my project are:
1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_change,_industry_and_society This article needs considerable work. Although the title of the article is "climate change, industry, and society" it references very little about industry and seems to focus on health aspects of climate change. I plan to add the way industry has contributed to climate change through the burning of fossil fuels and other methods, and add in a section about how sea level rise is impacting society.
2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinault_Indian_Nation This article has very little information, but I plan on adding some information about a current effort to raise money to move the reservation away from an encroaching ocean. Sea level rise is threatening the Quinault's way of life, and I think it would be relevant to include this under the section entitled "land".
3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forced_displacement This article needs work in its structure and organization. I also plan on adding a section that talks more in depth about the different causes of displacement, especially those migrating to get away from environmental pressures.
