License tagging for File:Bristol brunel academy.gif

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Bristol brunel academy.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:06, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:City academy bristol.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:City academy bristol.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:48, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Transport in Somerset

edit

Hi, Would you have any time to take a look at Transport in Somerset a new article by a newish editor which could do with some help?— Rod talk 12:50, 28 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Could you put those ideas onto the articles talk page for wider discussion?— Rod talk 13:09, 28 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Merger templates

edit

When putting the {{merge}} (or similar) templates on articles, such as you did recently to Chiltern Railways and Wrexham & Shropshire, at the same time you need to start a discussion on the talk page of one of the articles and provide a reason for why you are making the proposal. (See Help:Merging#Proposing a merger for more details.) Since you failed to do this in this case, I have removed them. (As it happens, I don't think a merger is justified in this case.) --RFBailey (talk) 03:58, 3 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

MfD nomination of Wikipedia:WikiProject Meteorology, Climatology and Ecosystems

edit

Wikipedia:WikiProject Meteorology, Climatology and Ecosystems, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject Meteorology, Climatology and Ecosystems and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:WikiProject Meteorology, Climatology and Ecosystems during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. –Juliancolton | Talk 23:25, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Pending the outcome of the aforementioned debate, please refrain from tagging articles with the project banner. If the page is deleted, cleanup will be quite difficult otherwise. Thank you. –Juliancolton | Talk 18:31, 7 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Temple Meads

edit

I have reverted your recent edit to Bristol Temple Meads railway station as it is not located in Lawrence Hill, I can assure you. In fact the area was historically known, unsurprisingly, as Temple Meads. Jezhotwells (talk) 16:09, 15 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
