I am just looking at some messages related to my comments and have no issue with them being deleted, though I am in some early stages of contributing and would guess user page remains unaltered by anyone than myself. I am assuming my signature is automatically added so the origin of my contributions are not confused with anyone else. I think I have some interesting ideas as I find my way around this process and thankyou all so far for encouragement.

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 12:25, 19 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Now I seem to be back in the metaphorical teahouse, having recently returned from a real one. This is all fascinating to me amongst some suggestion that nobody knows quite what I'm suggesting and I just noticed another suggestion that articles that are not touched after a year should be automatically deleted, whilst I and not the robots that would or could do that also notice a proposal for a timeline where everything in history can be recorded for future reference. There seems to be some issue with storage capacity and if my words become deleted or edited for any reason then that is why they are here and remain relatively abstract for now. I do avoid some fine art institutions though as my words and images have been manipulated and sold without my knowledge in a capitalising environment that felt inappropriate to my intention at the time. I am working on something tonight that I think is closer to that now.

MfD nomination of User:CheerfulPaul

edit

User:CheerfulPaul, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:CheerfulPaul and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:CheerfulPaul during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 18:30, 21 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

As I appear to have created a user page of my own over the last few days it is still in some stage of being experimental in content and would be disappointed if it was deleted so soon. I have as yet contributed no other pages and am unlikely to until I'm certain of the process. This is an interesting project for me at present and hope you will agree when it becomes clearer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Markostri (talkcontribs) 19:25, 21 March 2016‎ (UTC)Reply

It's not your user page that I have nominated for deletion, but rather the one you created at User:CheerfulPaul. I'm not sure why you created the latter, but you should really only create your own user page and not other people's. Cordless Larry (talk) 22:57, 21 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
