Hip Hop Beef needs significant improvement

edit

Proposed deletion of Hip Hop Beef

edit

The article Hip Hop Beef has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

this topic does not seem notable as a solo article. This info could be added to existing Hip Hop or Rapping article. See "feuds" in articles on artists like Jay-Z. Could become a notable topic but not enough sources. Back to drawing board/sandbox, please.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. sheridanford (talk) 23:13, 6 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hip hop beef moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Hip hop beef, appears to be entirely pieced together from summaries of various hip hop feuds. While the subject matter appears to be notable, the article needs to have actual coverage of the concept of a Hip hop feud, not just examples. Additionally, this coverage needs to be directly attributable to reliable sources directly discussing the concept of a hip hop feud, and not synthesized from coverage of individual feuds.

Additionally, the titles Hip hop feud or Hip hop rivalry are more encyclopedic and should likely be the eventual home of an article on this topic. Currently, those pages redirect to East Coast–West Coast hip hop rivalry. Once a draft of this article is ready, I would be more than happy to move it to the correct location, just ping me by writing {{u|Rosguill and signing your message with four tildes ~~~~. You may also want to incorporate content from Diss (music) or other articles about hip hop-feud adjacent topics in your draft. signed, Rosguill talk 23:14, 15 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
