I noticed that you edited the talk page of the Re'im music festival massacre wiki. The wiki currently contains the following sentence: "Retired Colonel Nof Erez described developments on that day as a "mass hannibal" event, in reference to the controversial Hannibal directive "ordering Israeli commanders to kill their own soldiers to prevent them being taken captive"." This information is misleading because Erez was not referring to the Re'im music festival, he was referring to Israel attacking vehicles entering and exiting through the Gaza fence. This is the full quote: "But the Hannibal we have been drilling in the past 20 years was relating to a vehicle, you know at what point in the fence it would come in, on what side of the road it would move, and even on which road. What we saw was a mass Hannibal, there were many openings in the fence, thousands of people on many different vehicles with hostages and without. It was an impossible mission to identify and to do what they did." https://twitter.com/MaxBlumenthal/status/1726681301535842338 So I would suggest to remove that sentence. Alternatively, write specifically that "Retired Colonel Nof Erez said Israel targeted vehicles potentially containing hostages that were re-entering Gaza through the breached fence, and described this as a "mass hannibal" event, in reference to the controversial Hannibal directive "ordering Israeli commanders to kill their own soldiers to prevent them being taken captive". - You are right. Please see User talk:Iskandar323/Archive 6#Introduction of fake news Marokwitz (talk) 07:30, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
- By the way the retired pilot explicitly says he doesn't know if Hannibal directive was used, later estimating it was "probably" used. The claim about "mass Hannibal" is completely taken out of context. Marokwitz (talk) 08:02, 22 November 2023 (UTC)

- From your username and some talk page messages I've seen, I know you're Jewish. I am not, and I definitely wouldn't be able to maintain the cool you demonstrate while advocating for more neutral coverage. It's admirable and I appreciate it. Thmymerc (talk) 13:18, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
