Welcome!
editHello, MarsPyramid2012, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one of your contributions does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.
There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Hello TheSoundAndTheFury, 1)How do you know that I represent or are the subject of that article? 2)This is a very large group of people, and also, what about the people who are opposed to it (FG), ie. supporters of the CCP, the 50 centers how many are there of them? How does anyone know if someone is one of them they can put opposing views without being accused of having a conflict of interest but the supporters of FG are not allowed to defend against this? ~MarsPyramid2012~7/7/2012.3:02pm — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.70.168.117 (talk) 05:03, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- Hi MarsPyramid2012. Don't worry about that, I added that tag as a mistake. I meant to press the NPOV tag; I was just drawing your attention to the neutral point of view (NPOV) policy, which when you read you will find explains the issues you may have had with the sentence you removed (I don't think it could have been construed to violate NPOV). It's a good idea to read through all those policy materials when you have time. If you have any further questions please let me know, happy to help. If you're interested in editing Falun Gong articles, there's definitely a lot of research and work to do on them. I have edited them myself for a couple of years now. Never a dull moment. Hi Sound n Fury, Thanks. First, how do I email you? Second, it won't let me start an article because there are other article of the same word with a different meaning, these all being place names, and the one I want is an object. I clicked on the disambiguation link but that was no help. MarsPyramid2012 (talk) 14:33, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
- To email someone you go to their userpage, and on the left is an "email this user" button. What is the article you are trying to create? Maybe I could help if I knew what it was. There are established disambiguation mechanisms used in actual article titles, for example if there was a band called Banana, then it article title might be "Banana (band)" in order to distinguish it from the fruit. If I know the article you want to create I may be able to advise on how you may proceed. TheSoundAndTheFury (talk) 16:23, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
No, I looked several times and coouldn't see the 'email user' on your user page. MarsPyramid2012 (talk) 15:26, 10 July 2012 (UTC) Please check my article, it might be a bit dodgy atm, my laptop just broke down I don't have much time online right now...... - Hi, I took a look at the article. I think it would help if you read the Wikipedia content policies, to be honest. They are above. Also read WP:NOTE which explains the basis of an article being made. I suppose the Falun symbol would pass. But the tone must be objective and mostly rely on scholarly sources (primary sources, i.e. Falun Gong teachings, are also permissible in part). Here is the link to email me [1]. I suggest you take a look at a few articles on other religious iconography and write this one in roughly the same tone. There will be less information available on Falun Gong iconography but there's a start. TheSoundAndTheFury (talk) 18:13, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
