Re: Hockey article question

Hi Marten! Yes, an article can be broken into subsections. Generally, I try to use logical breakpoints where possible while avoiding very small sections. Jarome Iginla is perhaps a relevant example, as I broke up his NHL career using a logical break (named Flames captain), and then an arbitrary one ("Milestones") to help spread the text. His Pittsburgh and Boston tenures are currently placed together due to otherwise small size if they were placed in separate sections. If you look at the "Recognized content" section of WP:HOCKEY, especially under the Featured Articles and Good Articles headings, you can find several examples of our reviewed player articles that might give you some ideas.
