editHello, I'm Katieh5584. I noticed that you recently removed some content from HIVToolbox with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Katieh5584 (talk) 17:29, 10 April 2014 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, MartinRSchiller. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page User:MartinRSchiller/sandbox, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You have a conflict of interest as your username is the same name as the Founder of the company, so you are likely writing about your own company. Qcne (talk) 16:48, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
Martin R. Schiller moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Martin R. Schiller. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement, you may have a possible Conflict of Interest and your user page should not be in main space. Also there is zero proof of notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ldm1954 (talk) 15:14, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
Don't move your user page
editThe COI article about yourself should be a draft which you submit for review. It won't pass as written, it is self-promotion without any attempt to prove notability. Ldm1954 (talk) 15:16, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
