Moving articles

edit

Please do not move articles by cutting and pasting the contents to a new page (as you did with Shin-Fuji Station in moving it to Shin-Fuji Station (Shizuoka). The article history needs to be kept with an article, and cutting and pasting an article does not do this. This instance has been corrected, however, and if you wish to move an article in the future, please make sure you are familiar with the correct method to move articles. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks! · Talk to Nihonjoe 07:27, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

edit

--Izumi5 09:20, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
